Welcome web-surfer, to my page! For an intro, a few factoids about me....
I am a sailor in the real world. I love all things in Gods country and try to stay reverent of his might with fear and trembling.
I love creative pursuits as much as I enjoy handiwork. I was an auto mechanic in my past life and I love working on cars and motorbikes when I have the time (and money... :(... )
I love illustration and have been drawing for as long as I remember. I'm not terribly consistent though and will go for long periods without touching the quill...

A Knight at The Crossroads - Viktor Vanetsov
One of my favorite paintings. I have a drawing I did about a year ago that was composited the same way as Vanetsovs painting. There was a phenomena in Western Europe of the early 19th century to pursue the feeling of 'Sublime Melancholia' to the point that landowners would have fake ruins constructed on their land to simulate this feeling. I feel like this painting does a good job at making me feel something similar.
“Then we are shooters both, and thou dost deign
To enter combat with us, and contest
With thine own clay. But I would parley fain:
Shun not my arrows, and behold my breast.
Yet if thou shunnest, I am thine:
I must be so, if I am mine.
There is no articling with thee:
I am but finite, yet thine infinitely.”
Artillery - George Herbert
